Fine prints

Since 1988, MoCP's Fine Print Program has uniquely provided support to artists by commissioning a limited edition photograph where one photograph is acquired into the museum's permanent collection, while the remaining edition is available for public purchase.

With over 70 participating artists, the Fine Print Program showcases a wide range of photographic styles, content, and processes, from local to international perspectives. Fine Prints offer an accessible way to collect meaningful work by some of today’s most innovative photographers previously including Dawoud Bey, Candida Höfer, Vik Muniz, and Alec Soth that have quickly sold out in past years.

Each image is printed on various archival photographic surfaces including silver gelatin prints, c-prints, and archival inkjet prints, offered in editions of thirty or fifty, and signed by the artist.

Proceeds directly support MoCP’s commitment to fostering dialogue, creativity, and access to the arts. Whether starting a collection or giving a unique gift, purchasing a Fine Print helps sustain the museum and its community.
